Here is the information that you will use to set up your e-mail program. We will use the address of help@neondsl.com as an example.

Account Name: help
Login: help@neondsl.com
Password: secretpass456
Inbound Server: pop.neondsl.com
POP3 Server: pop.neondsl.com
SMTP Server: smtp.neondsl.com

The first step is to log into myaccount.neondsl.com from your web browser. Here you will be able to change your default password to something that is easier for you to remember.

Account Name: (this is the first part of your primary e-mail address, before the @)

Password: (this is the password from above)

Click the button to "View Emails"

Click on the button to "Change Password" for the appropriate email account

Page 4

Type your new password into the new password box.

Press the "Change Password" button.

Now Close your browser.

Next, will need to set up an account in your e-mail program. This process will vary depending on the email client that you are using. The information above should have everything you need. Double check that you use your whole email address in the login field and that "Allow Authentication" or "My server Requires Authentication" is NOT checked.


Note: Unfortunately some e-mail clients do not conform to the industry standards that have been established. The following e-mail programs will not work with our e-mail system:

Eudora 4.0 and lower

Netscape Messenger 4.7 and lower
